FOH notes
All three members are lead vocalists — blend is critical. Three-part harmonies should sit clearly in the mix; avoid heavy compression on vocals. Shane's acoustic guitar is run through a pedal chain and out via DI — treat as a processed acoustic signal rather than a clean piezo feed. The cajón has no front port — mic 1 is aimed at the playing face for attack and snap, mic 2 is placed at the rear for low-end resonance and foot tambourine. John's violin goes through an effects chain, so the DI signal may carry reverb/delay; treat as an electric instrument rather than an acoustic. Shane may or may not use a second guitar on the night — confirm during soundcheck.
